Golf influencer marketing questions
How much do golf influencers cost?
A small swing tips channel and a creator with over a million subscribers don't charge the same, so we quote per creator once we know your product and what you want it to do. We negotiate every deal hard, and in a lot of cases we land a rate low enough that the savings alone offset our fee.
Which brands sponsor golf influencers?
Among golf brands in our data, Mizuno has the most sponsored videos, 59, all with one creator. Counting every video with a brand's code or link, HackMotion has the most, 301, then PlayBetter with 134 and Golf Swing Systems Ltd with 113. Brands outside golf sponsor these creators too: LMNT has 20 sponsored videos across 10 creators.
Who are the top golf influencers for brand deals?
The ones brands book again and again. Bob Does Sports leads our count with 66 sponsored videos, and Matt Fryer Golf is next with 63, 59 of them for Mizuno. Smaller channels get booked a lot too: Fore Play Podcast Plus has 47 sponsored videos with 44,600 subscribers. Our influencers page ranks the rest, with the brands that sponsor them.
How do brands find the right golf influencers?
We start with creators whose followers are your kind of buyer: people who would really want your product and can afford it. Then we check how many times brands have come back to sponsor each one again, and how old the accounts leaving comments are, to spot real fans instead of bought, fake followers. We also look at how many people ask real questions in the comments, like which ball the creator plays. When fans come to a creator to learn, they often have more money to spend on better products.
What's in the free golf creator audit?
Three things: the golf creators whose followers fit your buyer, which creators your competitors keep booking and how often they come back, and where the creators you already work with stand. Book a call and we'll send you over all the info before we meet. Then we'll review them together.
We've paid golf influencers before and got no sales. Why?
Usually when a past influencer spend flops, it's one of a few fixable things: the wrong audience (a right-looking creator with mismatched followers), a single one-off post instead of a sustained presence, no real tracking so any wins were invisible, or a salesy integration that got skipped. Clubs or balls sent without a code or a link have the tracking problem built in. We can't promise a number up front, so we start with a defined pilot and scale only the creators who hit your cost-per-sale.
How long does a golf creator test run?
Three months. We do it this way because a one-time post is hit or miss. It doesn't show the creator's real, normal views. And fans can tell it's fake if they only see your brand once. The loyal fans who buy the most watch a creator a lot.
Can you promise sales from golf influencers?
No honest agency can promise views or sales, because nobody can predict the algorithm. Anyone who guarantees that is not telling the truth. What we can do is line up the things that give you the best shot at sales, starting with golf creators whose followers are your kind of buyer, and creators other golf brands have booked again and again.
Can you find creators for a specific kind of golfer?
Yes, that's exactly where we add the most value. The broad categories are easy, but our sourcing system is built for the long tail: there are whole channels on the short game, on golf simulators and on honest equipment reviews. If there's an audience for it, there's almost always a trusted creator in it, and those niche partnerships tend to convert best, because the audience sees the creator as one of their own.
Do golf influencers only reach young buyers?
No. A lot of people assume creator marketing skews young, but some of the strongest-converting creators we work with have older, more mature followings, think channels built around golf, long-term investing or classic cars. Those audiences tend to have more disposable income and to trust their creators more, so the partnerships often perform better than chasing a younger demo.
Can we stop our golf creators from promoting a competitor?
Yes, exclusivity can be written right into the agreement, so your creators aren't promoting rivals. We set the category and the time window, so you won't see your creator with a competitor next week. Tighter exclusivity usually costs a little more, and we'll quote it clearly, since it's already built into the contracts we run.
How do you track sales from golf influencers?
We use coupon codes and tracking links, and we follow every sale through them. After we talk, we'll figure out what fits your profit, meaning what discount and what commission make sense. We would never set up something that puts your money at risk. If you use Shopify, we plug right in.
